Christmas is right around the corner … and I have yet to plan a menu! Seriously, I’m starting to freak out a wee bit. So, what does one do in times like these? Turn to the Internet!
Ah, yes, the magic of the Internet … just type a few words into the Google machine and out pops a plethora of recipes to make your Christmas dinner perfect! Now, I don’t know whether every recipe below will grace our Christmas table this year, but all together, they make up my perfect Christmas dinner.

- Butternut Squash Soup with Pumpkin Butter from Epicurious
- Herb and Garlic Rubbed Prime Rib from She Knows
- Roasted Brussels Sprouts from, well, me!
- Pepper Jelly-Glazed Carrots from My Recipes / Southern Living
- Cran-Sage Rolls from Better Homes and Gardens
- Yorkshire Pudding from Simple Bites
And of course, no Christmas dinner would be complete without dessert! I still haven’t decided what desserts we’re making for Christmas this year, but perhaps it will be one of these … though I’m not sure my baking skills are up to a Bûche de Noël or a croquembouche!

- Walnut Orange Buche de Noel from Martha Stewart
- Chocolaty Harvest Fruit-Topped Cake from Better Homes and Gardens
- Croquembouche (Caramel-Glazed Cream Puffs) from Saveur
What are you serving for Christmas dinner this year?
