Need a little extra workout motivation this time of year? Check out my winter workout playlist!
As you may recall from the second installment of my “weekending” series, I recently signed up for my first-ever “virtual run,” the Winter Wonder Miles Challenge. Basically, I’ve got until March 20th to get in 200 miles.
I’m either doing something really good for myself or I’m just plain nuts. Because this girl? This girl don’t run unless being chased by zombies or someone trying to tickle me.
Seriously, people … don’t ever try to tickle me.
Now, I may not run, but I do walk really, really fast so I’m happy to report that I’ve gotten in just over 30 miles so far. But, that still leaves a pretty big chunk … and when I do the math (something else I kind of suck at so here’s hoping I’m right), I essentially need to get in 3.5 miles per day to meet my goal.
When I say it out loud, it sounds a tad daunting, but I’ve started to find that once I hit the treadmill, the miles just tick away … especially when I’ve got a kick-ass set of tunes blasting in my ear.
So, to keep me on schedule — and to provide you with a little extra workout motivation if you need it — I’ve assembled my winter workout playlist.
Please to enjoy … even if you don’t enjoy working out.
