No-Bake Eggnog Cookies
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ cup prepared eggnog
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats, uncooked
  • Fresh grated nutmeg
  1. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, and eggnog.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring the mixture frequently. Continue boiling for 3 minutes, again stirring frequently.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat, and stir in the oats. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper, then sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.
  4. Let the cookies stand until firm, then store tightly covered for up to a week.
